Well the tax disc holder was £15 or so and the repair kit was only £4.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Fitted my Powerflex Torque Arm insert in preparation for installing my Milltek turbo back exhaust. Then I have everything for 2+

Does made a small difference to shifts as I have manual. Not much difference in normal driving. But if you do boot it you def get more vibration coming through.

Ran a 13.22et 1/4mile, best today on 92octane. Still under boosting a bit up to 5k rpm. Once the actuator is dialed in, the boost should be strong and actual will match specified. I hope to see 12's on pump fuel (92oct). Then I can try to beat my best 12.82et with 101oct race fuel.

Quickly tried breaking down the motorway grime after doncaster to germany under constant rain

Risking a fine of the grumpy germans that dont let you use any kind of shampoo or detergent outside designated (expensive) car washes  :fighting:

Rinsed off then it started pissing down lol

Hope they're not as strict as the Austrians! The B*ll*ocking I got when I washed polished and waxed the GTi at my flat, rather than use the garage jet wash! I think the word was 'Verboten!'
