Missing been able to clean and tinker with her today as I left it at work.

Three cars nearby got vandalised last though so I'm relieved it's behind an armed guard!

You'd think so.  Was on the wife's Facebook on a local community group.  'several break ins'. Don't know if the nice weather has fueled a weekend of BBQ & beer and some imbosiles had more than they can handle & think it's big & clever to damage / steel other people's property.  Dunno, dicks.

Car is tucked away safely out of line of sight of the guard too lol.

Given mine a bit of a scrub, put on some powerlock. Still debating about it - it's the first time I've use a liquid LSP.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Well I started around 1pm on saturday afternoon. around 2:30pm this is what the car looked like inside.

Around 10pm that night this is where the car was at.

It does not look all that different. However all the wiring was done and the car could almost be re-assembled.

Well around 11:30pm I could finally turn the system on and tune it.
However I ran into some complications. Worked right thru the night. Put the whole car back together again. Still had a  minor issue. But washed the car and headed down to a local VW show in Auckland, New Zealand. Managed to find out it ended up a problem on one of the cables. So will have to pull it all apart to run two new wires.

But the best thing is once completed you will not see a single thing.

Still have my Fibreglass sub enclosre to complete. Oh and install the front speakers too.

Contemplating removing front bumper to put my original RHD Xenons back in.  No shelter and it's pretty cloudy though :(

Yes, I have yellow bulbs behind the Lamin-x for that exact reason. The Lamin-x looks pretty good, but doesn't perform very well alone in the fog.
