Me and my MK4 will be haggling with a dealer over prices for a MK5....

The usual bollox  i.e  Gap insurance, Interior protecting kit, Alloy wheel refurb protection, Tyre protection....

And I can bet we will be £1K off my price....

Was it just a halfrauds jobbie to replace the lights?

Since it was only the brake light which went, that are the same bulb as the indicators, just a 12v 24W, and didn't fancy the traffic to get to halfrauds i stopped in at Esso and picked up a few packs. Westfield has opened up near me so its a total nightmare at the moment  :fighting:

Whipped out the right rear and replaced the blown bulb in the forecourt then checked and changed the left too just in case  :signLOL:

99p a pack  :drinking:

That TTRS looks hot!

Gave mine a quick detail with the Megs as it was a bit dirty from the 'storm' weather last week  :fighting:

I spent the time washing, polishing, waxing, etc.....looked beautiful for approx an hour and then the clouds appeared and the heavens open....only saving grace was the beading off the paintwork looked brilliant!!

Just one thing spoiling the look ATM, the white worm on my monzas, I definitely need to do so in about my wheels.

I took the MK5 (and the wife) for a drive up the M3  to wembley arena last night to watch Lee Evans live. Great show , if your a fan you must see it lol. The other highlight was cruising back down an almost empty M3 at 1:00 in the morning....Now let's see how fast she'll go...... :driver:
