Collected N75 & booked smoke test, fun times.

Spotted this lovely at the dealer;

So when are you trading yours in and did you get a good p/ex price on yours?  :P

I would consider a 3dr TR or CW ED30 at same spec as mine but I would miss the shape of the Cupra and the fact you don't see quite as many on the road.

gave it a wash, washed the alloys and sealed them, Megs FI all round, waxed the bonnet and roof, polished the windows inside and out and cleaned the skirts, bumper, splitter and all the window seals and black plastic bits with Poorboys Natural Look  :jumping:

Checked the oil, then i took her out for a drink....

...unfortunately at the watering hole whilst filling up with V-power i pulled on the hose for a bit more slack which was sat beneath the hose for the ordinary unleaded pump which caused the nozzle to come free of its cradle - everything went into slow motion as i watched on in horror as the nozzle made a beeline for my car  :confused:

I guess i'm a tad lucky in so much as the nozzle hit the ground first but unfortunately it bounced up and caught the passenger door just above the sill with a glancing blow  :scared: it's caused a tiny dent about 3mm and not too deep but fortuitously, no scratch. As i say it could have been far worse but just knowing i did it and that it's there is gutting  :sick:

Hey ho the joys of motoring  :sad1:

the golf really is a great all rounder, a mate had bought some carbon goodies for his turbo'd civic type r, so i said id take him for them as it was easier to take them off prior to the trip

so went over with 2 front doors and a rear boot, he was picking the same up but in carbon, some epic bargains for him

heres the car pilled up

was pleasently surprised and so was the lad

Went to dealer for the 3 clips to replace N75 but mechanic who logged car last week said he woulvde seen if there was a fault with N75, going to dealer near me tonight for clips and book in for fitting.  Booked in for Smoke test but they want to do it after the injector swap?

Quote for swapping injector 220€ tax free, just waiting for it to arrive.  Would rather have it fitted at home by one of our in house specialists such as BDM, PDT, JKM, Stattler, VWR..... etc but dont want to do the journey to the Uk with a poorly car.

Changed my Pcv but broke the engine cover in the process and got a nice crack from the top left to the oil cap :fighting:

Then my mate left his jack in his other car and the car ramps won't go under so couldn't change the dv

After a day of getting away with it. My exhaust light came on due to the 3" Downpipe and decat.

Guess i'll just have to go stage 2 then.  :grin: :grin: :jumping:
