Do you have to run any new wires other than the ones shown or have a different door controller?

I used a combination of guides. There is one on the my-gti site and also found one on the r32oc forum aswell. Also had a little point in the right direction from morty as to which pins I should be using as the guides are abit conflicting. I do have the correct pin locations written down for the gen 3 controllers along with part numbers if anyone wants them. Earlier gen controllers are slightly different but is explained on my-gti.

Adjusted the tyre pressures to 'recommended' values (i.e. 36psi all round).  I am running Monza 2 18"...

Found this destroyed the handling 'feel' as the steering is now ever so light and I absolutely hate it!

I'm going to have to drop them down to 34psi and see if that improves things but currently it drives like crap!

Conversely, I hate low tyre pressures. Once came out of a dealership and the car felt sluggish and unresponsive. Was found to have 32psi all round. Inflated up to 37psi and the car was spot on.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Fitted plate number LEDs and spent half day trying to get to the canbus gateway from the engine bay to fit POlar FIS.... supposedly much better access than from inside. Just couldn't take off the 2nd wiper blade
