Depends how you drive it, my standard clutch is still going strong with no clutch slip at all 43,000 miles and god knows how much of them is stage 2+ at least half and 30+ 1/4 mile runs.

RsTuning Leeds dyno dynamics

He didn't have anything nice to say about how my car ran really but does his own maps so I'll take what he said with a pinch of salt, I'd have preferred to have gone somewhere outside the vag tuning circles for impartial opinions

Drove to see Eddie-NL to get my RNS, BT, MDI and Cruise control fitted and I'm well happy with it all  :jumpmove: :jumpmove:

Definitely should have got this done ages ago

Did he do your BT (BLUETOOTH) what phone do use? Did you source the parts yourself or did he source them for you?  Did your MDI fit in your armerest?Got a quote for 850!!!!! to do the aformentioned work!!  :scared: :scared: :scared:

Im still looking for my car  :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

Yeah he fitted my bluetooth but I supplied everything except the canbus and cruise control stalk and wire. MDI fitted fine as already had a CD player and iPod doc in there so was only a new loom to the head unit required. My phone is an iPhone 4S and I got the 7PP6 035 730 G BT kit from car systems and its brilliant, only thing it doesn't support Red highline iirc only white onwards but as I have a midline it doesn't effect me.

Was £850 supply and fit?? As thats sounds about right depending on what RNS revision and BT kit you get. You could probably hunt down the part yourself cheaper

thanks for your reply.yes that was supply and fit. with a three year warranty.  I guess the warranty gives extra value for money.....still seems dear...especially in relation to the value of the car.
3 Door GTI Black, Cruise Control, DSG, Factory Tints, Folding Mirrors, Heated Seats, Highline Display, Leather, Monza II's, MFSW, Parking Sensors, Puddle Lights,  Xenons,

To be fitted....Bluetooth,DVB-T, MDI, RNS510, Stage one (opinions much appreciated)

That does surprise me, Ukmkivs had a RR day there about 3-4 years ago and he was spot on, explained alot and seemed to know his stuff. Since this time reports have changed that he is not as nice about other company maps etc...

My friends DSG A3, fell to bits after a custom map there, turbo blew up and the dsg box developed a fault, not saying its related though.

Are you happy with the results then mike? nice lump of torque you have there :happy2:

I'm suprised RStuning didnt say it was running lean or  'nearly as good as my map' those were the comments at the last RR day there
