Got car back from service, and the owner of the garage said it was a great car in really good order, all working exactly as it should.  :smiley:

"Better than the last 3 you've  bought, we've had to do loads on those to get them sorted"   :confused:

Mrs drove it back, so I'm going to take it down to my favourite A272 today and see how he's running.  :driver:

Took it in to a new body shop for round three of trying to get everything right on it. The first shop had two attempts and failed badly.

The new look before going back;

How it was before - should I go back to an all red bonnet/hood?

I'll get some full body shots when returned. It does look better when viewing all of it...I hope. I think so anyhow.

Fitted the new RCD510 at the weekend, had a mad dash to VW to buy an aerial adapter £31. Tranforms the interior totally. Used some plastic pallete painting knifes to remove the trim bought from hobbycraft. they really do the job well and didnt mark any of the surrounding trim. :nerd:

well i finally got round to fitting my nqsbbk today, but as normal for me nothing went right! Being an idiot i didnt check the thread before i went and didnt realise you needed a spacer to fit with monza 2's. long story short i managed to get some 3mm spacers and get the wheels back on! although the clearance is minimal. so i now have a nqsbbk (freshly refurbed red thanks to dave) with j hooked discs and pagid rs4-2 blues (thanks mike).

Also got round to fitting my osir steering wheel badge :happy2:

Thought it would be rude not to give it a clean and wax after :party:

Nice sunny drive down to W8 Performance to pick up some R32 front brakes. They are fooking huge, and way a tonne, cant wait to get them on!  :driver: Do I stay with red on the back and blue on the front or get them nicely refurbed to red? Anyone have any idea how much to refurb them?  :confused:

Went to pdtuning and had a forge twincooler fitted, and had Revo stage 2+ loaded onto the car. Car kept wheelspinning on the dyno, so power graph is terrible :sad1: drives ok on the road, has a nice peak torque of 375lb/ft :evilgrin:
