You may see one come up cheap. Just take it slow and take your time so you dont brake anything. But it was simple once you start doing it. Also use the search because there are some great threads and have a look at some pics and try and work it out. RR has done an amazing thread on twintake.
I didnt use any lube as it wasnt a struggle to connect them all together. Just a little tight in places.
You can use heat wrap if you wanted but i didnt as i wasnt to keen on the look.

Haha i thought ill wait and fit it at the weekend. But kept looking at it and thought I wanna fit it
Alot louder than i was expecting even with all the windows up but sounds great  :happy2:

Yeah it's not quiet. For the best experience get someone to drive it past you. Whooooooosh! Mines so quiet now, hardly any noise compared to before.

Fitted my privacy shades courtesy of Duke. Sprogs will be kept in the dark even more than usual! Massive thanks to Duke with regards to the price, and his superhuman efforts fighting the force of delivery companies to actually get them delivered
to me.  :happy2: :congrats:

Can't wait to get fitted... now do I go stage 2+? Or keep a strong reliable stage 2?

Stage 2 is my opinion, unless you add a bigger inter cooler for 2+, especially in this hot weather. Not so much an issue in the colder months.

replaced the centre cap that i somehow ejected the other day and bought a spare as well. VW must have a little gold mine going with these things especially seeing as though they have put their prices up from just over a fiver for one to £7.50 now

Didn't realise they priced matched. Hey-ho only works out as a couple of quid extra for each, which i more than saved by buying a load of household cleaning stuff from poundland  :signLOL:
