Busy day today, got window's tinted this morning and this afternoon got fuel pump internals replaced along with new follower and then straight for revo stage 2+ map(with reduced boost until I can get a cooler). Made 272.9 bhp and 288 lb/ft before we upped the boost a bit (didn't rerun this on the dyno though, just a live log to make sure car was all good) so dealer reckons somewhere in the region of around 280bhp and 295lb/ft. Expensive day, but one happy chappy!

Changed my manual gearbox fluid after 57k miles for fresh OEM gear oil. Makes a world of difference.

Highly recommended maintenance. So much more fluid and precise shifting esp when cold  :happy2:

Old gear oil was dark stinky burnt and totally vile!

Yeah soooo bad! Remember some getting on my hands and couldnt wash out the smell for ages

VW definitely need to change their service schedules to include manual gearbox fluid service.

Does changing the vent to a tray not affect the sensor at the front? I'm sure I read it somewhere that's a all? I'm about to tackle the 'creaky vent' so was hoping to change to a tray
