who did it , how much did it cost , and what does it allow you to do ? remove the helper spring or summat ?

Basically, when you get to a certain point lowering a MK5/Jetta your driveshaft begins to rub on your chassis leg. To gain dick head lows, you need to remove the helpers on most coilovers to get it looking right, this is when you chassis needs to be notched.
Think my passenger side is rubbing now though too :(
