Evening all,

Not been a member on here long but I have already made a few posts and tapped in to the wealth of resources. Just introducing my edition 30. Bought it as a replacement for my MK4 Anniversary and I love it.

Has loads of extras, low mileage and already I have a few plans in the pipeline. Nothing radical just OEM+ really

Only had the car for a month now but pics are below:

Just got hold of the following bits which I will be fitting at the weekend:
'GTI' seat inserts
'GTI' Footrest
Edition 30 badge for front grille
Limited edition number plaque
RNS510 Version C (LED)

Plans within the near future are:
S3 Jacking points
Amp + speaker upgrade all round
'GTI' tax disc holder
de-lock drivers door
Refurb wheels
full paint correction & detail

Think thats everything for now

Well I managed to get a few bits done over the weekend. Pics below

RNS510 (LED). Also updated maps to V7 ones since the seller forgot to do this and shipped it to me with V5 or 6 maps. Got to say I am loving this bit of kit. Installation was pretty straightforward thanks to a guide from the R32OC forum that I followed.

Next came the 'GTI' deadrest and seat inserts. As you can see I decided to mount a red backing to the logos and i'm very pleased with the results

Then came the limited edition plaque which VW had sent me. Got to say I was very impressed with the time it took for VW to get this out to me. Rang on the Friday and was told that I would get a call on the Monday. Call came on the Monday and the plaque was ordered. Plaque was then delivered by Royal Mail Special Delivery on the Wednesday.

Finally I installed the S3 jacking points. This isn't a cheap mod at around £50 for the parts but I have the wheels off quite a lot to give them a good clean so in my opinion its worth it in the long run. Really easy jacking the car up with them.

Next on the list is wheels to Aerocoat for a refurb. Got these all boxed up and ready to go. Can't wait to get these back and back on the car. Will post up some pics once I have them on. After that its a full detail and paint correction required so watch this space
