Neuspeed Hi-Flow Intercooler Pipe, Wont fit?

Hi all,

I have the THS intercooler( Would this make the problem?),  Went to fit this pipe today but don’t have any clearance, it just sits up against the fans any ideas?


I thought the intercooler went the the other way. :confused:

i got it in today,  but it is like 2mil away from the fans  :surprised:  I hope this will be ok

You may need to bend the arm that connects the pipe to the Engine block. I had to do this when i had one on mine. It is basically because your intercooler is now a lot thicker (THS are 50mm vs OEM 32mm iirc).

2mm is not enough clearance and you may find the fans rub on the pipe and wear off the coating. This is what happened to mine until i bent the arm slightly which gave it a better fit :happy2:

Took it for a spin, rubs a little.   Do you mean bend the metal arm at the bottom?

Silly question, what is under the coating?  a metal pipe?
