Hi Mate, what did you do to find out your number? Is it hard to explain to Vw?

Just ring up customer services and say your edition 30 doesn't have a number plaque can they send one out, they will check if one has been sent out to previous owners, if not they will tell you your number and send one out

Contact WV customer services on 0800 0833914. Give them all your details (telling them your after your "individually numbered Golf GT Edition 30 plaque") and if one has not been previously sent out to a former owner one will be sent to you for free. If one has been sent out before then you will not get one.
IIRC you will need to send them (via email) a copy of your Reg Document showing its your car and they go from there.
I delt with a chap called Matthew Young but lots of peeps have delt with a lass named Jenny.

I did that today! i called the number above, spoke to some dude who was really helpful, took all my details, said he'd pass it onto the girl called 'Jenny' who is the one that deals with the plaques and stuff! he said basically the above, if its not been sent before, they'll send it out to me free of charge on receipt of V5c in your name!
have to wait til next week now to see what number i am! :happy2: :happy2:
