When I rang for my plaque the lady said as far as they know my was the first uk car, and that the first 6 are registered in Wolfsburg :confused:
I was a bit mythed when I saw members saying that they had numbers 3 and 5.

Was a chap a few years back who was looking at buying 0003 but can't remember who. IIRC the first ones were all cars for press etc to play with on tracks.

In my country, Portugal, the VW importer had an Ed. 30 (the 1st in the country) for press presentations and they kept it for 7/8 years at least. It's now privately owned by a young man (in his thirty).
