Yeah phone VW Customer Services. They will need the Reg and likely proof of ownership as in V5. I scanned mine over to them.
They should be able to tell you straight away what number your car is and if the plaque is still available

Thanks.called them and they want me to take v5 to dealership to put car on system probably because of no plate change.fingers crossed,.

Yeah some will want that to prove you are the owner, hopefully your plaque has not been issued. If it has then just get an Ebay one, not as good quality but at least have a badge :happy2:
