ITG and Twintake (Noisy/Quiet) ?

(1/6) > >>

Hello everyone.

I'v read many post from this forum by searching on google so i try to make a question here even if i'm not a Golf owner.

I have a new (2011) Seat Leon Cupra R 2.0T and are looking for a new CAI.
I'm intressted in Forge Twintake or Maxogen ITG, but i cant decide which.
Is ITG to noisy or is Twintake to quiet ?
(I'm going to install a new Forge DV and a blow off at the same time as installing the new CAI).

Best regards / Robin from Sweden.

Both intakes can be noisey depending on how you operate the acclerator pedal.

Overall the itg is louder than the twintake.

I like the itg it gives you better power n noise

Having heard SteveP's ITG at Bedford...I would say they're both the same on noise level.

Unless you get their latest closed filter system (being tested on a couple of cars at the mo I think)...it's quieter I'm led to believe!

I order a Forge Twintake, Blow Off Adaption Spacer and Vacuum Operated Valve yesterday, i hope that i will me satisfied with this :)
Since i have 320hp now and are planned to have about 350+ i order the Forge Valve since i have read that it is stronger then the stock and i like that blow off noise so order aswell a spacer for that ;)
