yeah i dont think they blow out hot air if the top one is blowing out air aswell!

Yeah, I have tried it with the top vent open and closed but still no hot air blowing out when on auto.
Might be a trip to the stealers me thinks

have you pressed the direction button in the postion towards the middle ? ie the button with the arrow pointing towards the middle of the little person ? (hope that makes sense ? )

Yeah. This is the wierd thing. If I do this, hot air comes out of all 4 vents in the dash, (the two above the stereo and the two near either door).
It is only when I press the Auto button, hot air still blows out of the two near either door but not the two above the stereo.
Strange ???

^^so they do work till you press Auto ?, if thats the case it sounds about right imo (hard to tell without going out and trying it)

Correct. Surely though all vents are used to control the temperature in the cabin.
Or is this the way that the climate control can vary the tremperature to either side, by only using the outer vents?.
The question might sound a bit trivial but would be nice to know.

Right, just been out, got it blowing from the middle (above stereo), turn on the AUTO and the middles turn off (or at least to a level where you cant feel it), hope that helps

Cheers 182_Blue
At least now I know that it's not a fault
Thanks for the help
