IF you wanted to permanently kill the white worm by powdercoating them, Nigel at A1 Wolverhampton can do whatever shade/colour you fancy.

Mine are called Smoked Chrome and I wanted to do as close equivalent I could get to the original Monza 18's.

Anyway, do them like RR's - very nice finish though I think I might've gone a touch lighter if it still had that mirror effect.

....They can easily be done a lighter shade but I find that mine look different according to the lighting.

I love the original diamond-cut plus clear lacquer look but feel greatly relieved not to have the white worm constantly being a potential threat. Even just a stone chip can break the seal and set it off. By keeping my Monza's I think I have preserved the fundamental visual integrity of the Mk5 GTI and it's a lot cheaper than changing to a different alloy design.

They do look nice but I think the brightness in the first pic is spot on and that's what I'd go for. Still like the finish on the Monzas II.

Your Golf looks lush !!! I was considering a refurb, but I have always liked BBS on a golf and can't resist !

I can't decide on what to go for !

Whats your opinions?

Cheers,
Max

Thanks for the compliment, Max.

Personally I prefer the silver BBS and think they look smarter. The black would look good if you go for a total black look like Greenouse's. But you're the only one who can decide.
