My fat battery is a 70 Ah type as well while I know A3 2.0 TFSIs just having 60 Ah.
Keep in mind ''Amp hours'' isn't the one and only. ''Cranking Amps'' is even more
important ro start an engine.
So if you don't listen to music while the engine isn't running I don't see any issue
reducing the Amp Hours radically.

This guy (USA) had a 60ah Varta from the factory (and only 480a)

Wrong link, David?
60 Ah is way more above minimum.
If you are careful 25 - 30 Ah should start every day.
Tfsi_Mike:
15AH here :ashamed: Am careful and starts every day
the bruce:
No doubt, Mike.
But I wanted to be careful as well. Careful to recommend.
A Braille offers much higher crank amps than conventional batteries
and I kept in mind technically non skilled people reading this. So
better have some reserve.
