Tfsi_Mike:
This week is going to see;
OSIR footrest, New Fuel Filter, Snap on Seat cover, Injector Cleaner going in the tank, Plugs gapped to .64mm, New front bumper, wash with new snow foam :smiley:
Does anyone know the cost of a new injector? Id rather have to replace the injector (if that's the cause of the missfire) than have the head off and valves cleaned!
Thinking of trying Revised PCV and Revised DV over Forge and BSH too, thoughts?
Tfsi_Mike:
So she's gone to the dealer for repair :sad1:
Very worried about the outcome, had better be a good job! Theyre giving me a good price on the front lower grill and fog grills in gloss black (what a 'good price' is remains to be seen...)
Asked how much it would cost to have the stone chips repaired too.
Theyre doing the oil seal I noticed had perished which is only pence. The mechanic laughed at me when I said Im going to try injector cleaner incase sticking injector is causing the missfire. He's going to do some costly investigation...
May aswell get them to fit the Fuel filter when it arrives.
IF the timing was 1 tooth out would it cause a missfire on only one cylinder?
Tfsi_Mike:
Soo, the €600 for painting the wings and bonnets stonechips would be better spent towards a carbon bonnet o be honest.
The new bumper will be on and painted by Thursday / Friday :popcornsoda: think I'm going to ask for a Cupra R (mk1) splitter instead and Leave the cupspoiler off over winter, thoughts?
Richn83:
looking goo Mike, I had a play with some heat reflective tape on the weekend too but on an aero panel running by the exhaust at the rear looks similar to your stuff was fairly easy to work with. looking forward to seeing the front end once finished. :happy2:
