The forge valve and the genuine valve are the same. Forge buy them direct from pierberg and just machine the tab off so the plug fits from the dv.

Well 100 miles on and 700€ lighter and cold start / idle is great, no popping. Pulls like a train, had a bit of 4th gear wheel spin :driver:
Put it back in family mode stock map to make myself be sensible.
Coupl of pics the dealer took yesterday of intake ports, I was hoping theyd focus in the ports and on the valves, lost in translation I guess

Very quick update as I dasah in & out the house. Car drives brilliantly. The stock map feels so much better! So much more grunt & get up and go.
Nipped to pay the horrific bill @ dealer and to tell them im not happy thel lost a stainless jubilee from my ITG and theyve ordered a new one.
Next up winter tyres, exciting :( :signLOL:
