The 1st half of the 1st sessions was mainly Red flags!  Was there a charge for the Revo experience?

No thankfully, I waited for 10 mins and nobody spoke to me and when they did he said I had to wait another 15-20 mins (which means 30+) so I said f*ck it and left. Was only a stage 1 8V S3 around a small oval for 10minutes so not exactly the ride of a lifetime  :jumping:

Next time we should do the 9am session Mike... i came in for like 40 minutes.
The Golf R, the white one , I swear was going to rear end me.
He was annoyed he couldn't pass me cos the car sticks so well and can brake so late. He followed me into the last chicane and very nearly went into the back of me.
after the clio went off i thought enough was enough. sometimes it's better to let the egos subside and wait it out. i was out for the 2nd hour mostly and it was good!!

nice to have met you yesterday mate was a cracking day.

I was lucky enough to jump on the 3-5 session. There was lots of space & open track by then.

You'd never be in time for the 8.30 briefing ;) haha.

The TTE 7R's were bloody quick, one of the white ones (VRS) was on full slicks which I thought was a bit cheeky.

Had a great weekend.  A long, long overdue catchup with @nickb.  Got to see the MkII for the 1st time since its rebuild then onto Donnington Park for Vag Tuner 2016.

Got there nice and early to help @vRSAlex and the AKS Team unpack, then off to drivers brief with (a late) @xjay1337

The 1st session was unusually slow to get going.  A lot of people going out with cold tyres and generally being retarded. (We all make mistakes but sitting in the pits for the 1st 45 mins got frustrating!)

Unfortunately missed out on some great footage by not having the spot meter switched, forgetting to press record and my mount not being quite tight enough.  Bit of a goPro disaster :(

1 or 2 saves, where @DanGB may have got white knuckles.  Chasing the Parkside monster Caddy van and following Alex around. Lots of fun

The 3-5 session was loads of fun despite my brakes starting to give up on life.  Dry and enough track space to open up.

I'd recommend anyone using a TTS engine cover to keep an eye on it as it came loose on one of my sessions.  Luckily opened the bonnet to give it a once over and help it could down quicker and spotted it.

Was great to catch up with the old faces and great that the black clouds didnt open up on us! All in all a great day.
