How would it manifest itself in the graph & on the road?  :happy2:

You would need to log boost and air flow you will see peaks in your air flow logs where they should be linear with rpm and boost.
 Surge happens on the spool up just before peak boost. The KO4 tfsi turbo can suffer from a slight comp surge from the fast spooling help by the manifold flaps, its gives of a waste gate chatter sound on the inital spool up.    99% of all tuned k04 tfsi suffer from this sound and IMO its a slight surge point and nothing to worry about or avoid.

Mike how are getting on with the bumpsteer kit?

like you i have the TT control arms and alloy hubs

the kit is very low down on the thread and is making an aweful creaking (don't know if that's related), been to my indie and he said that the rose joints were wearing already hence the creaking.

No creaking yet. Do have some knocking at low speeds I'm trying to diagnose though.  I will ask Alex to check how many threads I have on the bump steer. When fitting the diff
