31 mpg?? Feck!! I got 27 last night from slough to Doncaster. Ooops.

That's still better than thebest I've managed out of the golf r.  22mpg motorway cruise, and even lower around town
How many miles has it done? I'm not really an mpg junky but I couldn't live with that, not from a 4 pot.

25k iirc

Its the same software as is on mikes cupra, so the differences must be in the haldex and extra weight :scared:

Pat on the back to mrs 'tfsi' for not binning the lupo too.

In you opinion is the system of better quality that milltek? What grade stainless steel is it?

Indeed, she did well. Was more worried about the £££'s for recovery & repair bless her.  Harry was oblivious throughout until the recovery driver arrived when Harry then decided it was time to monumentally overfill his nappy .  Cheers son hahaha

We only use 304 grade stainless steel - the system comes with a lifetime warranty
Cheers
Nige
The sound driving around is much better. The sound on boost I haven't really tried out yet, I overtook Sy a couple of times he may be able to comment.   I will get my mate to drive by me while I drive his car.  I plan to get back on the DD RR to see if any difference was made to the power graph.

A couple of improvements noted were; more room for the gear linkage cables going past the DP, more room for the lambda as it was quite close to a tunnel brace on the miltek & OEM Cupra style tailpipe compared to my old Twin Jet Miltek.

I will ask Dave on Monday about the grade of steel.  Or maybe Nige could comment.

The lambda 2 position has improved on my BCS system too as the probe was quite close to the tunnel brace.

Thanks for the under body de grease / clean nige!

I had a late night round trip nottingham - northampton on my own last night.  The system sounds awesome!

Giving my car to Alex in the very near future to fit the diff, elongate the holes in the WALK consoles & pull the subframe back a touch, and give it a propper Geo setup and maybe tweak the V3s.  The car should drive like a dream after

Mods for when I get back from Afghan are; fabricated battery tray, possible custom fabricated ITG heat shield,  Lightweight recliners, Carbon or fibreglass bonnet, something special done with the splitter, wheel refurb & fancy rubber.   :jumping:
