then i need the new ECU update from VAG, then a visit to Shark Performance to have the stage 2 map turned up to its proper output.

You best hope that doesn't lock it even though i will find it funny as fook if it does!! :scared:

Roger  :happy2:

However Audi issued an ECU update for the A5 3.0 TDi which returned the car to Stock AND locked it out. The only way to map then was ECU out and open up job.

Looking good Sy, I'm still interested in the I/C and Rad combo, although I have already agreed to let Forge loose on mine for fitment to the Polo GTI. I wonder if I can get them to enlarge the core a little

What about the bonnet venting I mentioned by PM? You still thinking about it or going for it?

Now THIS is a homomobile Sy.

Golf R gone.

This one isn't as big as i was expecting, but should still have loads more volume.

Forge almost had mine for the development, but i thought they were bbuying a bit tight asking for £250 and having to travel to and throw their HQ 3-4 times. Id be near enough paying full price for the privaledge of them using my car.  Glad i never as the guy who has been lending them his car has been to and thro a fair few times now.

Not sure on the vent, it,ll be the last thing i do, will try this radiator, oil cooler and heat wrap etc  first

Im back from kenya now.  We were 2 hours north of nairobi in a town called Nanyuki.

Were doing alot of construction work there, and i was designing the electrical installation or some of the parts.

Ill be in Afghan next year when inters is on, so ill have to beat you again another time  :P.  My aim is for a 13.5second 1/4 time, so you should smash me anyway, even with a slow launch.  Reckon we could be close on a 0-60 launch though

Mmmm, not sure what a stage 2+ S3 would get on the 1/4 mile?
I reckon the 0-60 time should deffo be sub 5 seconds though
Can't wait to try the launching with the DSG.

We had a death I the family so i had to collect the car before it was finished.  Still haven't taken it back yet.  Will take it to them after the IC/rad/exhaust/ecu update and plugs are all sorted, then dsg and remap tweakage.

Sorry to hear the bad news Sy.

Have you tried a NQS BBK yet Sy?  Should be over in a few weeks so you can sample how they stop the heavy Leon.  :happy2:
