Tyre cleaning & dress up

Megs gel, and either a brush, or a cheap car wash sponge, which I hack bits off to use as applicators for this and also for Autoglym Bumper Care  :happy2:

I use megs endurance tyre gel from halfrauds. The difference is that I apply using a brush so it gets into the lettering etc and I leave it to dry rather than buff off. Leaves a shiny wet finish which I love. If you plan on driving the car soon after, buff off the product. Poorboys natural look dressing is also good to use on tyres.

Remember, unlike showroom cars which aren't driven, the dressing wear off over the next few days.

I meant to ask, what is APC?

Cheers.

all purpose cleaner :happy2:

GTIStevie:
APC = All Purpose Cleaner, very popular in the detailing world.

I personally use super degreaser on my tyres just spray it on leave for 30secs then you will see it turn brown as it remove muck from the tyres then give it a good scrub with a brush and rinse off. When dry I then apply meguiars tyre dressing the spray not the gel. Good stuff and can be got from halfruads. :happy2:

Grizzle:
APC as mentioned but you want to get a waterbased dressing as oil based drys out the tires badly.

My personal choice is Zaino Z16
