I think the revised OEM plugs are one grade cooler. (on the Cupra anyway)
I imagine new coils and plugs and the car will be silky smooth again.
Have you used any sh*t fuel recently?

:ashamed: :ashamed: :ashamed: :ashamed:
Yes.....had to pop in £10 of standard unleaded at sainsburys and an Esso....had a feeling it might be that so brimmed it with Vpower as usual and will plan better in future and not get caught short.

I too was caught short and had to put a tenner of 97 in in!
As you say better planning, I was very tired it was Germany to yorkshire run

Replaced my coil pack in cylinder 4 and everything seems to be better. I did notice that my coilpacks ended with the letter D and the new one with the letter F.
Presumably, the rev. D coilpacks are the ones known to have an issue and covered under the VW replacement/call back?

Nightmare..
Couldn't get to VW this week as had to manage a night deploy.
So thought I'd swap the spark plugs from 2 and 3.
Took it out and the following errors...6 in total. Fuel low is fine, had 10 miles range left and will fill up later...the rest

One question is the connectors onto the coilpacks have a couple of clips missing though they always have been. Could it be a loose connection? Is the bracket expensive and what is the exact name for the set of four connectors?
Driving around like Miss Daisy is fine, though as soon as you push the loud pedal then it starts missing in 3,4,5,6....not noticeable in 1,2...weird.
Sprak plug in the 2nd from left was sooty 2nd from right wasn't, could this be just a spark plug issue?
Thanks

Sorted :drinking:
Bought some Denso IK24 after looking on here and now runs like a dream. Hopefully continue but not a hint of misfire...thank god

Have you scanned the car since swapping the plugs?
