Bonnet weight

Have been mailing a couple of companies about MkII Leon carbon bonnets.  Its one of the three 'big' mods I still have to do.

There seem to be versions around 3-4kg and versions 4-5kg.  I need to check the quality of the finish on the lighter ones isn't compramised due to the thinner outer skin.

Does anyone know the weight of a std bonnet?  It will be roughly the same as the Golf weight, if the Leon bonnet weight is know even better...

Got a couple of initial promising replies, then no further replies with actual prices.  :fighting:

The car will have a diff and carbon bonnet before I class it as 'finished'

Read somewhere that OEM Golf GTI bonnet is 14.75Kg !

The Seibon bonnet should be have the weight with stock braces.
Sadly Danish's experience with Seibon parts were not the best.
