Milltek question

They never said anything about a light coming on!, although he was going on a bit about a remap!!.
Wouldn't just the modification of a new exhaust do the job?? or would I only be gaining a louder motor?

it may give you more noise but without a remap you're not telling the engine to do anything different are you?

so it won't run more boost, put more fuel in, advance timing to make more bang.

waste of money if you're not remapping it as the whole TBE is £1k.

iirc RedRobin covered a substantial milage with his tbe without reporting any associated CEL.

....That's right - Over 15k miles. And furthermore I was (and still am) in regular contact with Milltek during that period and it was always their advice to get a remap with a TBE as bacillus and chungster say. Their TBE's are developed with the reputable established tuner remaps in mind. Milltek are performance exhausts.

You'll experience improved throttle response and nice sounds but nothing more without a remap. Well, you might gain 3 or 4 bhp at best.

Jim (fastismycopilot) gave his ed30 in for the development of the ed30 milltek tbe. He doesnt run any other mods and has no cel lights :happy2:

hufcforpromotion:
well! no milltek for me and no mods as I am unsure this is the car for me! I will be honest I miss the grip of my R32! Could be S3 for me in the future!
