Back In the game!! Good day, bad day........help me?

Evening all, after weeks and weeks of problems from the Insurance FINALLY picked up the new Golf today :jumping: and loving it. Spent the whole day doing my upgrades, making it mine again.
Now comes the bad day. I have some little things that a making me :rolleye: I just can't work out what going on........can you help :sad1:
1) Drivers door speaker (larger one of the three) not getting any sound at all. Do I need to take the whole door panel off? or does the vented cover just poppy off? hoping a lose wire?
2) Ambient lights. Yes, the little red light on the roof where the sun glass holder is. Right, they work when I open the car, get in, start it.....then they go out. Arrrrrrr. Why they doing this?
3) Like above.....main lights (white ones) work fine when I press the individual on button......but don't come on when I open the door? (yes, have checked the button is in the right position for when the door open)
4) Have auto folding mirrors with welcome lights.........I have to twist the button to get them to fold in. Should these not fold in when I click the lock button? again, nice to have, but annoying me that they don't do the folding when I get out and lock it?
5) ESP button work fine.....but no red glow and night?
6) Elec windows < when you hold fob to open/close.....they open different times not all together. When held...don't always go back up fully?
7) I have a button on the climate control (normally where dual is) its a flat line with wavey lines going up....press it and it goes off? what is it? lol not in the manual

On your folding mirrors, try holding the lock button for 3-4 seconds when you get out and lock the car. That's how mine work

just tried < no. tired it even with the swtich (on the inside) in different positions

Mine is with switch / knob in normal 'adjust' or heated mirror position. Get out, hold lock for 4secs approx and they fold up.
There is a thread in VCDs section about what's needed to make them fold on remote but it's not been figured out, yet. i dont think :happy2:

OK, I was guessing it may just need coding ? tell it to do so. As it stands they are staying out....does my head in folding them in manually. Waste of a function.
