Steering Wheel Vibration under load / acceleration?

<< < (2/3) > >>

I'm loving it since upgrading to the AP's Rich. The gave me soo much more confidence at combe to dunk it inside TTRS's  :driver: :signLOL:

Car is great otherwise. Had brake fluid changed and wheel rotation at weekend.

I'm thinking about a full set of VWR Engine Mounts next.

Don't really fancy anymore suspension mods but was tempted by the SuperPro bush mount thing that SteveP did on the Mk6.

But really the car is just how i want it. Need to save for a clutch next tho...it's not gonna last much longer i think.  :sad1:

Excellent... glad to hear you are happy with it. Its a shame i couldn't get to combe over the summer for a PAX lap to see how it compares to your old GTI

chungster:
That was a wash out and brakes were utter poo so u didn't miss much  :signLOL:

Alex

Who do u guys use in Mk for wheel balancing duties??

chungster:
Heading to an old friends business in Daventry on Monday to use their new tyre balancing machine and free go on their brand new 4 wheel alignment rig!  :signLOL:

So will see if that fixes the vibe.

Thanks for the advice chaps.  :happy2:
