After lowering???

<< < (2/2)

the bruce:
No rubbing at all with 8x19 ET45 + 225/35. Just fender screw is removed.

Distance fender arch to wheel center is 340 mm front and rear on the pic
and 335 mm rear now. Will raise it to 350 front and 345 rear in afew weeks.

neil86:
so 18x8.5 and 19x8.5 shouldnt rub with 45 plus offsets as tyre size wouldnt change just more stretch. How come your raising it back up? Why more at the front than rear wouldnt it be better the other way round?

the bruce:
Just do the wheel arch screw mod. ET45 to ET50 fits perfectly.

Why my alignment?  :innocent:

1. I want more wheel/suspension travel

2. I need more ground clearence for coming winter

3. from the view of performance a slightly lower rear feels better

4. I never carry more than one passenger or any heavy goods

5. it looks much better to me

Some guys run 345 mm front and 325 mm rear, so much more difference.

neil86:
thanks for that.
