Local VW mechanic. Gets his maps from Germany.... That all i know. Im happy though and no DPF issues :happy2:

....I'm not wishing to offend anybody but remapping your brain rather than the car's ECU brain and hence using your shifts to always be in the optimum gear, is a far safer and more enjoyable way to drive. Also, relying on torque in low gears is both lazy and not great for your car in the longer term.

I bet you have fun putting that down to the ground in a FWD. Or not as the case maybe.

I actually find it grand for putting down the power. I find myself accelerating much more progressively with the power. No need to be hard on the throttle at all. You can frighten people when you do put the boot down though :grin:
