most Cost effective Brake upgrade?

(1/6) > >>

duncan:
am considering getting my brakes upgraded now that the car is mapped, dont feel like the standard ones are quite up to it

would really want to spend a max of 1k and dont have any intentions of going to stage 2.

what would be the best option - get the front brake set from a cupra or R32? or would i need to get bigger pot calipers?

Lol....you say that now, but I guarantee you will end up doing it at some point!! Such is the way with modifying, and this forum is a really bad influence!

to be honest - i would get a WALK kit, big brakes and LSD before i go near stage 2, and only then would i do it if the insurance wasnt a complete joke.

as it stands am the most broke ive been in 5 years after spending money i dont have on a remap and other bits and pieces on the car so will be a while before i can afford it and ive still got a long time before ill get bored of the performance!

In that case you need to update your sig :signLOL:

Its a popular question on here, but what do you do with your car?
track days, 1/4 mile.Or just fast road use, if its the later then 1k on a big brake set up is a waste of money the r32 would do you fine at about £500.
