Find myself pondering a Polo Bluemotion at the minute, but that may be the lure of big mpg and no tax..being a tight wad.

I tried one of these for a few days when the GTI was in the garage. Started off hating it, ended up loving it. At first I couldn't get my head around the lack of acceleration, but then I realised that that wasn't the point. It was seriously comfortable soaking up every bump I through at it, was frugal as can be, and the standard stereo is really great.

Very nice.  Looking forward to the progress.  I have mine in with shark performance for DSG remap at the moment.

Whens the first 1/4 mile then?

Where's the benchmark dyno run going to be John?

Stattler or nobles?  :happy2:

Statllers  - assuming Steve jr can get all the clutter off it

Hopefully be able to see it in the flesh soon, moving back to England.  Good to see you back  :happy2:

Omg! 3 pages and I haven't modded her yet

To answer a few more questions....

Yes, I will be doing qtr mile runs early next year
She will be going on a few track days, including at least one ring trip
I am feeling much better now and the modding madness will get going on Monday
Seen a few juicy cf bits already
Janner, really interested in the DSG map, so keep me posted :happy2:

Definitely no NOS this time, but i may still get tempted by a Snow Performance Water/methanol kit.

Also looking at these as the OEM paddles are too small.

Haha, I kind of like them, but they do look like some kind of disability aid
