Hi chaps,
Other than the R32/S3 brake set up, what other brake set up can you utilise from a VAG car with minimal ease? I have an Ed30 and under firm braking they feel crap!

TTRS? R8? Why not try the NQS BBK, not VAG but highly regarded

And the TTRS's bolt straight up, no bespoke this and special that? R8, there's an idea, although I wish to retain the original wheels and I don't imagine they'll tuck under a 18" wheel?
What about Porsche? I have a set of 911 rears on my Corrado 20vT and using Ibiza Cupra discs they bolt straight on.

I'm no expert but I'm sure people have fitted R8 and TTRS brakes. Might not be a straight fit though. Why don't you want R32 brakes or equivalent?

It's not a case that I don't won't the R32 set up as I'm sure it provides ample amounts of stopping power over the standard GTI set up, I just fancy something a little different perhaps? Plus when I've found a pair or complete R32/S3 set up they seem to be priced like there made from gold with added VW tax because people know you can bolt them on to different models as an OEM+ upgrade. I figured for the same money I could get something that isn't so common and that little bit different.
An example was a few weeks back on eBay, a breaker who had a burnt out R32 wanted £1,200 for the fronts & rears with discs & pads. There not £1,200 brakes surely!? My 4 pot porkers only set me back £375.
Would the front R32's suffice on there own or is it understood that rears get done also?
