My MKV TDI
Dave_TDI:
Bought myself a mk5 TDI after a year of wanting one and 4 months of looking for a clean one in my price range,
Owned it for 6 weeks now and im over the moon with it, its a 55 plate 5 door in silver.
I picked it up with 73k, FVWSH, and not a mark anywhere on it its literally immaculate,
I got the car for 4500 but it was due a cambelt and service and has a split pipe on the turbo which has all been sorted now, i also got some genuine s-line wheels for free which i had pwdercoated black.
Progress will be slow on this as i have a baby due next month and im only 21 so i dont earn and amazing wage :(.

Welcome to another sooty driver but don't expect a small wage and a baby being due to stop you spending on here
Regards,
John

Haha thanks maye, ive just realised ive posted in the wrong section aswell :/
Anyway forgot to mention my plans.
Short term:
Tints for the baby (thats what i tell te missus anyway) so i dont have to habe those tacky stick on winnie the pooh visors.
GTI/GT front bumper,
Sensible lowering.
Gti skirts,
Colourcode everythimg silver.
Long term:
R32 rear bumper,
R32 rear lights,
R32 xenons,
Better wheels, probably ed30 bbs,
GTI or R32 leather.

Welcome to the forum ,from another sooty owner
sub39h:
hi there mate, and welcome.
you've got some awesome plans, car should look good when it's done! as above, a small wage won't hold you back joining this place. i've only been here a month and spent £820
not meaning to shamelessly plug but i've got some Eddy wheels for sale atm :signLOL:
take care,
S.
