Steel Grey cleaning session with Lusso Oro..........

(1/3) > >>

QD MBE:
Well the weather was nice, and I have some time off.

Out came the car, and this coincided with Autoperfection sending me a sample of their Lusso Oro and a small amount of the Lusso Paint revitalising Crème.

Washed her in the usual way, 2 buckets, with some Bilt and Hamber wash, spiked with a bit of left over Megs NXT wash.

Dried using a Sonus towel (these really are great towels, and do a fantastic job).  I then used the Revitalising crème, and rewashed to get the slight dusting off.  The dust was due to the panels getting warm, due to the sun appearing halfway through!  When I started it was foggy, and quite cool.

The next step was the Lusso Oro wax, I used this as per Jim's instructions, and gave her 2 coats (still got a small amount left too), and polished with a Blue Perl MF cloth.

I was trying to get wetness to the car, with Grey it is difficult, but I think the Oro did very well, considering it was again quite warm, when I added the wax.  the wax is very easy to use, and smells great.  The service from AP was first class.

This may seem like an Autoperfection appreciation society, but I just felt that the products and service were first class.

Nice bit of VW orangepeel!

No Prizes for guessing what the silver car the neighbour has!

As a footnote, the neighbour used some scotchbrite to clean the wheels of his wifes 8 month old Renault tin top cabriolet!
