Booked in For a Blueflame TBE
Top Cat:
They dont have any exhausts ready made so there all custom to a certain extent, they have a jig set up that they use as a template, Mine is exactly the same as the ED 30 one without the final bend to the side.

I got to admit the more I look at the Blueflame the more I'm drawn towards it... if only I knew about it before - hey ho!
So, why does everyone go on about Milltek - and why the premium over say Blueflame?
Top Cat:
You cant really go wrong with a milly the are the market leader for a reason, the blue flame is a good alternative, and we should find out in the next few weeks if it can produce good gains as well, no one has been on the rollers with them yet up against the Milltek

My assessment so far:
- The finish of the tail pipes is gorgeous in comparison to the rolled lip finish on the milly.
- Also, like the fact that you dont see any of the 'steel' box under the rear bumper - or is that the photoshop wizardry?
- Prefer the name Blue flame over Milltek any day of the week. Logo is pretty cool as well.
- Blue flame appear to be cheaper, and I can't see anyone complaining about the quality in comparison to millies.
- Read some article about the aftersales/customer service for Milltek being better. To be honest once you got the exhaust fitted - who gives a damn!!!
- Only downside that comes to mind is that I prefer the way the milly exhaust tips protrude more.

collected the car this evening, man does it sound sweet :happy2: it produces similar sound to a stock mitsu evo.
will probably get the map done next week, then it will be trail time, will i be able to live with the deeper sound as its an everyday car.
it was suppose to be the civilised car, when not in the spec c
