Matto's Shadow Blue GT Sport 210 *Updated 12.2.16 - Mods Complete*
Matto:
Cheers mate :happy2:
Not 100% sure but will be down to the mapping. I can still get into the 50's but not very often. Driving normally its between 42-45mpg. That's what the computer is telling me but I'm still getting roughly the same if not a little more out of £40. I say £40 because I can't bring myself to put any more than this is at a time :signLOL:

Well today with it being dry and my pile of bits mounting up I managed to get out and fit a few of them. First up was my smooth grill panel (and yes, I know its in desperate need of a wash).
And rear footwell lighting which was abit fiddly but not too bad a job. Thanks Eddie for making the looms up for me :happy2:
Car is also booked into AKS for some bits and pieces beginning of August so watch this space

*Big Update*
So it been a while since a proper update but been quite busy and not really had time. Here is what I've been up to with the car over the last couple of months.
First up was a trip to see Nath at Detail My Ride to let him give the car a little TLC. Full report can be seen here http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,50276.0.html
A couple of pics from when I picked it up.
Then a couple of weeks ago I fitted my smooth grill panel and Hella Xenon look headlights.
This weekend I was booked in for a little trip to see Alex at AKS. He supplied at fitted a set of H&R lowering springs, Whiteline Rear ARB and the Superpro Anti-Lift Kit.
When I arrived I took some before photos.
Springs going in.
Rear ARB fitted.
Old and new bushes.
New bushes fitted.
And all done :happy2:
Alignment figures.
A couple of other goodies I picked up whilst I was there. Black washer fluid and coolant cap
A big thank you to Nath and Alex for the fantastic work they've put in to getting it looking like it does and thanks for reading.

Looks smaaaaaaaart Matto. I'd be well chuffed with the drop
Engine bay's looking cleaner with the black caps, also a tidy little couple of mods.
That paintwork still looks great giving some lovely reflections.
Just got back from a run and the colour of the sky matches your paintwork all over :sad1:

Looking good matey
Love the smooth front grille :happy2:
Your paintwork looks in a lot better condition than mine, I get decent reflections but the swirl marks are not good :sad1:
I think the drop is just right, although on mine I still find the shocks to be too soft :sad1:
keep up the good progress,
Ben
