home brew induction/cai for mk5 gti - anyone tried?
GNJ_Motorsport:
I think by the time you have bought all the components etc then you won't be far off the cost of the kits on the market. What about a Neuspeed P Flo if you don't want to spend £300+?
jimk04:
I think it will have to be a P-flo for me on the grounds of cost unless I have a crack myself.
Its just the MAF bit that need some looking at!

I have one of the ones off ebay at £65 and they are great! Will take pics and put them on soon! I was'nt willing to spend alot of money, so i didnt and still got great results! happy days!
jimk04:
did you feel any improvement - or does it just sound better!?

i have a custom cai on mine, aaron rj off here built it himself - but copied the BDM induction kit. My advice would be to buy a genuine product from BDM (as they are a good cai, very aggressive and flow a lot of air) and think they are cheaper than Twintake/Itg :happy2:
