Thinking of a remap for my Edition30,need to change Diverter Valve?

(1/2) > >>

sanj:
I've heard that the standard Diverter Valve is pretty weak on these car's,would it be advisable to get it changed before the remap and if so which one to go for?Went to main dealer's to ask for the price of the original OEM and it was around £57 and they said it was a cut off valve,I take it it's the same part? :surprised:

ktlstar:
I recently had my ED30 remapped and not yet changed the standard DV. It takes 5minutes to take it out and see if its cracked/split. Obviously i'll change it when it goes.

check out awesome-gti who sell it for around £50 delivered!

Tfsi_Mike:

Or Tfsi Mike who sells a shiny Forge one for £70  :P

sanj:
Hiya Mike,i'm new here so could'nt post on your for sale post regarding the Forge one,will it be a easy job to fit with no modification's? :smiley:

Tfsi_Mike:

The forge fitting kit I have is this;

which I may be able to supply depends if I can get a replacement in time to not have to take my car off the road. (lots happening atm with a move back to England imminent)

They have updated it and improved it to need no cutting hoses.
