One piece rear bumpers
« on: November 11, 2008, 08:40:58 pm »
I have only seen 2 or 3 one piece rear bumpers. I think the votex one and one that Hurdy posted ages back, from one of the summer shows i think it was a 1.4 red golf with black LM reps with red lip.

Has any one got any pics of 1 piece bumpers, there must be a few about somewhere.
Pics would be appreciated. thanks chaps.

....

I've been searching but can't find it yet. A guy in the US of A converted a TDI (or some other Mk5 soot chucker) to look like a R32 and did quite a nice job of joining and blending the rear parts into one.

It was here but a while ago : - http://www.golfmkv.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=42

I was thinking about doing this when i fitted the r32 bumper.

After seeing the pics of the 2 bits blended i came off the idea, because it looks odd, ie doesn't flow with the lines of the car and also it looks Chav, like an aftermarket kit from Westcoast customs !
