Ed30 rear lights
matt a:
I have the problem on mine.
em2evol:
This happens with my brake light...
Aparoon:
There are no seals on mine whatsoever that i can see and i have had them both off to check, should there be some then?
I did think about putting some of them silica bags in, even thought about drilling 2 small holes at the bottom of each light, don't think it would be noticeable at all and can't see it doing any harm
jd_30:
Aparoon, same thing happend with my ns tail light but it actually filled up with water. Had it replaced under warrantly and the same thing happend again!!! (Could have put goldfish in there!!)
I then took it out myself and put a thin piece of draught excluder around the aperture where you access the the bulbs and also drilled a 2mm hole in the bottom corner.
That was about 12 months ago and I've not had an issue since!!
Hope this helps

silverdart:
i had this same problem with mine , put it into the steelers and they changed it only problem was that they replaced it with a RED gti light . I didn't notice till i got home and when i called to find out what was going on they said that was the light listed for my car!?! ... 2 days of arguing with them and they are gona put the right one in , the only thing that realy anoyes me is that im gona have to pay for another trip to the dealers on the ferry !!!
