Vinyl wrapping an entire car
« on: April 15, 2009, 08:39:37 pm »
Does anyone know if complete car wrap is durable enough for semi-permanent use? If I can find the right car then simply wrap it, it'll hopefully avoid having to make compromises in spec for colour if I can't find what I want.

Does anyone have a ball park figure for a complete car wrap?

Thanks.
Only 250.1bhp - but with that noise, who cares?

There is a thread on uk-mkivs where a lad has had his black rs4 vinyl wrapped in candy white (or similar), it looks spot on and i think he said he paid around £800  8)

If you read the whole thread he mention's a few things, the company who did it, guarantee it against scratches, and he says its easy to clean.

I'm guessing something in the region of £800 is cheaper than a decent full body respray?

If its anything like my works van, it faids in the sun after a while, and also by the passenger door and driver door openings where shoes or trouser legs wears it away in time, or avoid doing Black!

I did wonder how durable it would be around the door aperatures in particular.
