Why didn't manufactures consider Air if it's that good? is it costly?
MAT ED30:
If it handled as good as a say a race set up it would be fitted to race cars but as an everyday set up that is flexible then it's great and I love it on stuff people don't like to see it done to as its a break from the normal. We can't all like the same thing and it's good to see people pushing things
Tfsi_Mike:
Any decent pics of the red k1?

think there are some poor opinions of air ride on this forum unless you have some solid evidence of air being crap in a performance car then i think its an opinion best kept in front of the keyboard.
also i best to mention the fact that air is sh*te and ruins the handling etc.. to the owner of Plush Automotive and the 626hp supercharged RS4 which was at UD (which is on air) and tell him to take it off straight away because the people in the know on here say it rubbish and handes like crap
:P

That video goes to prove nothing. Neither does saying a car with 600bhp has air so it must be up for the job.... Nope, doesn't prove anything.
Do BTCC cars run on air? Clio cup? DTM? F1? WRC cars?
Air serves 2 purposes and 2 only, and that is going low when sat still, and being able to raise it so you can actually drive the thing.
(4 things if you include burning your arches to the bare metal and smashing sumps) ;-)

don't know why your freakin del boy, I'm a big fan of air ride, but i don't need to go in one to know its not as good as a good RACE suspension, why not a gti or r32 because there supposed to be a performance car, to me air ride is decked scrapping the floor looking awesome, not much point having 200 bhp
