MK5 R32 MPG ADVICE
Boothy:
MPG is a bit of a worry as I don't really want a nice car I can't afford to drive!
Been to look at one today in Bradford but it had 'Dodgy' written all over it!
VC:
well Vpower (preferred or something similar) which is a must for a healthy happy .:R is currently over £1 a ltr
got scary when it hit £1.28 a while back, but forget running the cheaper fuels, so budget for that too
JonnyG:
I had a manual ED 30 for a year and got an average 27.36mpg over 12,500 miles
So far the R32 (DSG) is returning an average 23.8mpg for exactly the same sort of driving
That should give you an idea of the difference :happy2:
The R32 mpg certainly suffers around town more than the ED30, and I do a lot of commuting, hence the figures are well down on what you could expect on the open road.
Boothy:
Thanks for all the responses guys.
I'm thinking that the R32 might have to go on the back burner until I start earning a bit more coin!
Cheers.
Moschops:
No worries matey.
Any questions just post em up and we'll be happy to assist... :happy2:
