No doubt that will be the compressor, worth looking at the high pressure switch too. I had 3 compressors on mine under warranty...

Worth scanning with VCDS or will nothing show up?

Scanning is worth a look, can check compressor load etc..l.

DanGB:
Does it matter how early we arrive, got a fairly long journey.
