Revo stage 1 vs regular stage 1

(1/3) > >>

RobboGTI:
Hi guys. Just wondering what the main difference between these maps are as the prices seem to be quite different.
On the AmD website they do their own remaps and also a revo map as well but there is like £200 difference.

Is it really worth it?

Revo does make better power and can be a aggressive map (you change how aggressive it is with the SPS switch) they have great reviews all over the net from various makes and models,

AMD tend to get alot of bad press on here and some good press, there rollers and very optimistic so don't be fooled with there figures, AMD do have great after Care as do Revo, it depends on what your after

If it was me I'd go Revo purly because I know a few people that have been at the end of the AMD "it will adapt and make more power crap"

If your only going stage 1 then why not pay out £200 extra and get some extra ponies

Have a search tho and see what you think
Also look into
•shark performance
•R-tech
•PDT
•bluefin
•superchips
•Giac

All do have various reviews in the review section

Hope that helps
Jack

Does the SPS switch come with the remap or do you pay on top of the remap for it?

You have to pay on top....can't remember  exactly but it's about £100-150 unless you can haggle them to get it for free  :signLOL:
I'm all for Revo as they have been MORE than helpful on my car and they really do know there stuff,
The SPS switch allows you control over the car and the map
You can change settings based on the fuel your using etc, it's very handy to have  :happy2:
Shark performance also do a STS device now too
