(1/6) > >>

Make sure you've got all the bits.

You'll also need.

Trolley Jack
Axle stands
19mm 1/4 socket and long bar

Safety First...  :signLOL: I don't like going under cars so trolley jack and 2 axle stands is pretty much fail safe. Better to be too safe than dead.

Lube up your insert...  :chicken:

Line up the mount with the larger piece towards the rear of your car

Because the mount itself is in two bits (top and bottom) you might need to wiggle the insert quite a bit to get it into the top part of the mount.

Place small washer in recess

Place large washer onto of that and replace the bolt.

Tighten up to "TIGHT" setting on your arm wrench.  :happy2:

Done.

Great guide there Rich!  :congrats:

Its a gread little mod for only a few £'s  :drinking:

bacillus:
It's recommended that you use a new bolt with this install as the original may have been stretched if torqued correctly. Bolt to be torqued to 100Nm + 90 degrees according to T_T.

Matto:
Nice little write up. Have you noticed any difference with it fitted?

rich83:
Not massive difference matto but noticeable.
